Steering Column Bearing for 1976-1979 Ford Broncos and 1973-1979 Ford Trucks

The lower steering column bearing, one of our products, is designed to fit the right side of the column tube with a 2.125" OD for an exact snug fit. The bearing has a 0.75" (shaft) ID and a 0.625" depth, and comes with three 1/4-inch stainless steel screws and tapped mounting holes.

To install the lower steering column bearing, minor modifications to the column tube are required. You will need to drill out three spot welds to remove all parts of the stock bearing, and then the kit can be installed in its place. This lower steering column bearing is compatible with 1976-1979 Ford Broncos, 1973-1979 Ford Trucks, as well as 66-72 Ford trucks and similar aged Ford vintage cars. It can also be used with Steroids or similar power steering conversion kits for vintage Mustangs.

The lower steering column bearing is made of high-quality aluminum alloy with a precision ground surface for a high fit to the column tube.
